Here is a brief description of the different types of gas appliances…

VENT-FREE FIREPLACE is a complete firebox system with logs. A Vent-Free unit can be placed where there is no fireplace currently. Cabinet mantels may be added for more luxury and style.

VENT-FREE GAS LOGS are a log appliance that can be installed in a wood-burning fireplace and when used with the damper closed can be used as a heating appliance.

DIRECT VENT FIREPLACE is a complete firebox system with logs. A Direct Vent Fireplace is a unit that can be placed where there is no fireplace currently. Cabinet mantels may be added for more luxury and style.

VENTED GAS LOGS are a gas appliance that can be installed in an existing wood burning fireplace.
